Taylor school students use their minds, leadership skills and creativity in many ways. Some of the best examples of our students’ skills are demonstrated in our enrichment programs. Taylor School students participate in state and regional competitions including Odyssey of the Mind, Olympics of the Visual Arts, the Invention Convention and Lego Robotics. Student teams use group problem solving, public speaking, inquiry and exploration to develop creative solutions to each challenge. Our teams have placed in first, second and third place in many of these competitions.
Our teachers and PTO members also enrich our curriculum through after school and special school-wide programs. After school programs such as Art Club, 4-H Club, Ski Club, Taylor School Singers and other enrichment programs add to the excitement of each week. Authors frequently visit our school, and parents actively share their talents, traditions and cultures in the classroom.
