Mission of Financial Aid Program:

The Financial Aid Sub Committee, a sub committee of the Accessibility Committee of the Susan Odell Taylor School for Children grants financial aid awards on a non-discriminatory need basis yearly to eligible students K- 6 th grade.

The Susan Odell Taylor School for Children fully recognizes the necessity of providing equal opportunity and practices this belief without regard to race, religion, color, gender, age, national origin, disability, or sexual orientation. This practice of non-discrimination applies to all applicants for admission and financial aid.

Financial Aid Policy Manual

The Taylor School has developed a policy manual so that current and prospective families of the school can understand the financial aid process. In addition, the manual will assist the Financial Aid Sub Committee, Executive Director, and Academic Director as they promote this option to current and prospective students and their families considering school enrollment.

Each year the Board of Directors allocates monies for the Financial Aid Sub Committee to award to appropriate current and prospective students who meet the admissions and financial aid criteria. The Board of Trustees and the Accessibility Committee oversee the policies of this committee. Policies will be reviewed on an annual basis.

The initial inquiry form to apply for financial aid must be completed by January 1 of each year. The application must be completed by mid-February of each year.
