Program Overview

Dear Families,

Thank you for your interest in the Susan Odell Taylor School for Children. We offer a unique educational opportunity for children from preschool through sixth grade. As you travel through this website, I hope that our commitment to providing an academically challenging curriculum within a warm and caring atmosphere is evident.

The Taylor School is a child-centered community that is dedicated to teaching the academic and social skills our children need in the ever-changing world in which they live. Our engaging learning environment is designed to enrich the lives of the children while instilling in them a love of learning that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Our dedicated faculty and staff provide a supportive and nurturing environment where students feel free to take the risks necessary to grow cognitively, socially, and emotionally. We build upon each child’s strengths and address areas that may need strengthening, creating the strong foundation necessary for future success.
